| What is it with New York attorneys general? Is there something in the Albany water supply that makes them crazed crooks?
Pick a recent New York attorney general: Eliot Spitzer, Andrew Cuomo, and Eric Schneiderman. Democrats all, they ran into some self-created problem that forced their resignation from either the attorney general’s office or, in Spitzer’s and Cuomo’s case, the governorship of New York, where both had moved on to after serving as attorney general. Spitzer was forced out of the governor’s office after it was discovered that he had been patronizing a prostitution ring. Cuomo was out of the governorship after several sexual misconduct charges surfaced. And Schneiderman resigned as attorney general following several allegations of his physically abusing women. |
