All are invited to attend and be a part of this wonderful effort. I want to personally encourage all R3publicans who are believers to attend this event and add to the prayer cover being called for on February 1st and throughout this legislative cycle. We need to make sure that prayer covers our state reps at the front end of all that is done this legislative cycle. On a recent trip to DC, I sat in the galley of the house and prayed alone, but there were not other believers all around praying also. What an awesome opportunity! I hope you will be there physically if at all possible and in the spirit if not there in the flesh. Mark your calendar, set your clock, let your friends know about this important time to unite in prayer for all the leaders in our land and especially Oklahoma.
It is a biblical command to pray for our leadership for our own good!:
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
