Topic: Positive Changes at City Hall

Dewey F. Bartlett, Jr. was born in Tulsa. He graduated from Bishop Kelley High School, received a B.S. in accounting from Regis University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. After graduating from SMU, he worked in the oil fields, and worked as a landman. In 1979 he started working for the family-owned Keener Oil Company. He has served as President of the Tulsa-based Keener since 1994. He served as a Tulsa City Councilor from 1990 to 1994. He has also served as Chariman of the American Red Cross, Tulsa Chapter, the Tulsa Airport Authority Board of Trustees, and as a member of former Mayor Taylor’s Complete Our Streets Committee to recommend a plan for fixing Tulsa’s streets. He was elected Tulsa’s 39th Mayor in November of 2009. He and his wife Victoria have 3 children.
