Jordan Page is a well-known singer/songwriter in the liberty movement, and has opened for Ron Paul on multiple occasions.

Sandra Crosnoe says:  ”If you do not already know him: Jordan Page is the muse of the movement — in biblical times the praise team went ahead of the battle. Jordan understands this and is at the tip of the sphere! He is a gifted musician also. I shall never forget when we first met and I watched him set the beat for each song. Prepare to be inspired and motivated and blessed on every level of your being.”

Shelli Dawdy’s GiN post on Federal Red Ink Tsunami: The Life Boats Are Within Our Reach

By Shelli Dawdy

In two recent articles, I laid out what I believe to be some unfortunate truths. In Don’t Count On A Republican Congress To Save The Day I theorized there is ample evidence and information that placing all hopes on the results of November’s election is a fallacy.

The title of the second, GOP Congress Will Not Save Us: Time To Choose OURSELVES,  was very deliberate both in repeating the mantra about Congress and in echoing the title of a 1964 speech by Ronald Reagan. Shortly before that year’s Presidential Election, Reagan informed America it was time to choose. He urged Americans to preserve freedom by rejecting the establishment of the day. He believed the members of the establishment embraced collectivism both at home with welfare state policies and abroad through the advocacy for “accommodation” of Communist nations. Reagan warned that failure to reject those forces would ultimately result in Nikita Kruschev’s prediction coming true. The Soviet dictator said America would someday freely choose Communism. Reagan believed it would come after a period that degraded the spiritual, moral, and economic fiber of the nation.

Ronald Reagan was correct. After decades of weakening from within, the wheel has turned – the paradigm has shifted. The forces which were oceans away in 1964 have embedded themselves in government and other structures of power. The appeaser crowd, then largely relegated to the Democratic Party and higher academia are now running the Republican Party.

If you remain a skeptic I urge you not only to read both of the above articles in full (they include a number of references), but in addition urge also that you read or watch “A Time for Choosing” and read the article “America’s Ruling Class — And the Perils of Revolution” by Andrew M. Codevilla.

If you followed a link to this article, you are likely searching for answers. You are wondering what can be done to reverse the course of government and if you have stuck with what I’ve had to say so far, you must at least have some degree of skepticism regarding a Republican majority in Congress. That nagging feeling you’ve likely been having is to be encouraged.

GIN: GOP Congress Will Not Save Us – Time to Choose OURSELVES

By Shelli Dawdy
with Grassroots in Nebraska (GIN)

In my most recent post, “Don’t Count on a Republican Congress to Save the Day“, I made the case that a majority Republican Congress is not likely to result in either an overall reversal of the disastrous direction of our government or a repeal of such things as the historically bad healthcare law. In fact, I express the concern that what is more likely is a continuation of politics as usual.

The Republicans are still playing the political game. But we can’t afford games – it’s how we started down the disastrous path we’re now traveling on and how our speed has been exponentially increased. We may not know what lies at the end of that path, but many of us fear it may well be a catapult off the edge of a cliff.

I haven’t drawn my conclusion about results from a majority GOP Congress because of predetermination. I base my assessment and expressions of concern on patterns in history, very well thought out and fact-supported writings such as found in the article “America’s Ruling Class — And The Perils of Revolution”, recent events, first hand experiences in my local efforts, and from direct participation in the GOP.

I don’t even like the conclusions I’ve drawn. I don’t like the solutions that keep presenting themselves at every turn. They are not popular, not easy, and are likely to be very difficult to implement.

Gag me with a spoon – UN gives advice to AZ now

It is really time to get the UN out of the US.  I mean this is over the top.  Every hard working citizen trying to make ends meet and pay their own bills has had just about enough.   We have given to other nations via government transfers, charitable programs, volunteer efforts, church missions and humanitarian aid.

Here’s a bit of the article and you can click on the pic for more.

We have asked nicely that you respect our borders and our laws.  What part of rule of law, protecting our borders, ethical standards, not stealing from others, not taking advantage of others, protecting our sovereignty, moral values, and common courtesy do illegal aliens not understand?

We stand with Arizonans in putting their foot down and doing what the federal government has failed to do since 911 (and well before!).  The first thing that must happen is to secure our borders.  The second thing that must happen is to remove economic incentives for industries to hire illegal aliens.  The third thing that must happen is to forcibly remove anyone caught violating our immigration laws.  No sanctuary cities, no free medical, no checks in the mail to mailboxes just across the border.

In addition we will not penalize citizens for the failures of the federal government.  It is not citizens who must carry papers but visitors and guests here with our permission.  All others should be sent home at their own expense asap.

Enough is enough.

PS  You can forget about amnesty too –

not on our watch and certainly not to lawbreakers!

The Constitutionality of Health Care Reform? FAQs

Click on pic for complete post on Grassroots in Nebraska

“Many within the grassroots movement were encouraged to learn that the Attorneys General in at least 14 states have joined in a lawsuit against the federal government challenging the constitutionality of the health insurance reform legislation Congress recently passed and President Obama signed into law. “

Special thanks to Linda and Shelli for all their efforts for Nebraska Sovereignty and for Grassroots activists around the country too!
