Oklahoma City Bombing 1995 Documentary: A Noble Lie — available on DVD and online

A Noble Lie: The Oklahoma City Bombing of 1995

“A myth or untruth knowingly told by the elite to maintain social harmony, or the social position of the elite.” – The Republic, Plato

A Noble Lie dvd-coverThe 1995 bombing in Oklahoma City was a direct blow to the heart of America. 168 people were killed, including nineteen children. For those watching the nightly news, Terrorism had come home. For years following the bombing, countless victims’ family members, survivors, rescuers, and ordinary Americans, have questioned the official accounts about that fateful day.

Hoping to shed light on answers long ignored and censored, both by prominent media outlets and the U.S. government, A Noble Lie peels back what we thought we knew about the bombing and it’s perpetrators. This film exposes information never before examined or brought to the attention of the American public.

A Noble Lie is the culmination of years of research and documentation conducted by independent journalists, scholars, and ordinary citizens. Often risking their personal safety and sanity, they have gathered evidence which threatens to expose the startling reality of what exactly occurred at 9:02 am on April 19, 1995 in Oklahoma City.

Utilizing footage and eyewitness testimony, previously unseen, A Noble Lie will change forever the way you look at the true nature of terrorism.

Happy Pi Day Everyone (3.14) get it?

Here is how some math classes celebrate and don’t miss the pi song — it will hang in your brain for sure! Students participated in special PI Day activities, celebrated the day by singing PI Day songs, and (of course) the traditional eating of the pies. Think I’ll go have a piece of pie now just to help celebrate the day. Continue reading

Stop Health Care Reform Legislation — OK-SAFE Tells Reps Why!

Amanda Teegarden from OK-SAFE to

Joint Legislative Committee

Health Care Reform –

IT, Security, Privacy Issues/Concerns

In the beginning of the presentation, Amanda made the critical point,

“He did not give man dominion over man….”

The powerpoint presentation is available on scribd for reference and for sharing in it’s entirety. There is a link below and then ideally the presentation should be embedded here. If not refresh your screen and if it is still not showing as embedded, click on the link to see the power point presentation via scribd’s website.

OK-SAFE, Inc. PPT – Joint Committee on Health Care Reform Law 11-03-11

The research will show you what has been done in legislation to bring us to this point. It also documents the many policy concerns with this level of information sharing and why we should not be permitting it to be done nor being asked to pay for it and ‘forced’ to implement it in our states. Study the presentation and talk to your friends about it. We must be able to tell people why we do not want to share our data and why it should not be being collected and retained. We must understand that if collected it will be shared with/without your ‘permission’ because ‘they’ can. Once shared, there is no way to put the genie back in the bottle. What will happen to your identity if you no longer ‘own’ it?

In closing, Amanda gives the joint committee seven recommendations which we hope will be heeded by ALL of our elected officials and representatives who are charged with the public trust in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

1.Repent – not kidding here
2.Do not establish a state-based Health Insurance exchange – it will be the same as the Federal government’s version
3.Allow people to escape HIT/HIE system without penalty; do not penalize providers who opt not to adopt EHRs or participate in this system
4.Repeal state laws that prohibit individuals from seeking alternative health care services, i.e. homeopathic medicines or non-traditional treatments
5.Terminate the Oklahoma Health Information Exchange Trust
6.Audit the Oklahoma Health Care Authority – expenses outweigh benefits
7.Adhere to the OK Constitution – work to restore liberty

A tribute to Steve Jobs — a visionary in our time.

He touched so many lives and will be greatly missed!

RIP Steve

(look closely at this picture!)

.

This is what is posted on the apple website today.

This video was posted on the Ron Paul Forums last night by AdamT and really summed it all up for me.

[Hat tip to AdamT: RonPaulFilm - For Liberty Re-cut handout DVD | Twitter ]

Here is the way he paraphrased the video content to make it specific for the loss of Steve Jobs.

Here’s to the crazy one.

The misfit. The rebel. The troublemaker. The round peg in the square hole.

The one who saw things differently.

He wasn’t fond of rules. And he had no respect for the status quo.

You can quote him, disagree with him, glorify or vilify him. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore him. Because he changed things.

He pushed the human race forward. And while some may see him as the crazy one, we saw genius.

Because the man who was crazy enough to think he could change the world, was the one who did.

RIP Steve Jobs

Drawing from some of the most pivotal points in his life, Steve Jobs, chief executive officer and co-founder of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, urged graduates to pursue their dreams and see the opportunities in life’s setbacks– including death itself– at Stanford University’s 114th Commencement on Sunday in Stanford Stadium.
